I want to send a HUGE thank you to everyone at Zephyr for providing backpacks and stationery to our organisation. We packed and handed out 59 Back-to-School back packs up to date. We received such positive feedback from the schools in our area, appreciating the encouragement provided to assist our vulnerable clients to make it possible to attend school with everything ready to go for the new school year. THANK YOU for the fabulous work that you do.

I have just been introduced to this generous, much needed and appreciated organisation. I have worked with children who have experienced domestic violence for almost 20 years and it’s definitely an area of support that is overlooked and its impact underestimated. Equipping children to recommence school after leaving domestic violence is important on many levels so thank you to infinity!!!

It is difficult to convey the difference you make to the lives of the women and children who come to our service. Being in refuge is a huge challenge in itself for the children; being away from friends and family is extremely upsetting for them. Starting at a new school is even more challenging, especially if they have to begin their journey in second-hand clothing and without the correct equipment. Being able to provide them with brand new uniforms and bags and the supplies needed gives them so much confidence to begin their new journey. The relief on the mums’ faces and the huge smiles on their children’s faces say it all!

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you properly for all your kindness and support during what has been a very challenging period for us. We are moving forward now — finally safe — though still navigating a few hurdles along the way. We are so grateful to have angels like you beside us; your care and generosity have meant more to us than I can easily put into words. Thank you so much for covering the cost of (child’s name deleted) uniforms for his new high school. It may seem like a practical thing, but it has meant so much to him — it’s helped his confidence, his sense of belonging, and his ability to step into this new chapter feeling supported and seen. I want to give my warmest regards to Zephyr Education for the funding of my computer. To have such an expensive learning tool funded really gives me hope. I received my computer in March and even just having it for the past week has been such a help, and I went from falling behind in my grades, to having all my assignments in on time and I instantly got on my laptop and rushed to have it all done. This laptop gives me major reassurance on where I’ll be headed. Thank you to everyone involved.

The order (for uniforms) has been collected from School locker yesterday. Thank you. I have also received the backpacks, lunchboxes, shoes and socks. The family were so grateful. The boys said, "They felt rich now"! Thank you Zephyr for bringing so many of my Indigenous families the blessing of school uniforms and supplies. Your work in the community does not go unnoticed and it is always a joyous moment when ALL the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families I walk alongside of, receive your education packs. It actually feels like Christmas for my families. Thank you and God Bless you all.

Both children went off to their first day of high school looking smart, with everything they needed and like they belonged to the school with the biggest smiles. A student at our school arrived day 1 with her school bag packed with books and other resources. This has allowed her to maximise her learning and start her educational journey with confidence and a smile. Zephyr Education made this possible.

I just wanted to thank you all for the school supplies sent to our office and uniforms paid for by Zephyr. The family were absolutely thrilled; it took enormous pressure off them given the challenges they are currently experiencing. Your service is an absolute godsend!

I just wanted to pass on to you some feedback we received from one of our clients who Zephyr recently provided a laptop for. The client was incredibly grateful. She wrote in an email to her worker the following: "My daughter and I wanted to send you and the organisation involved with the laptop, a big THANK YOU. My daughter has been busy setting it all up and applying for scholarships, Uni tutorials and enrolling for her classes etc. She cried when she opened it, as we were expecting a second hand laptop. This was the one the Uni actually recommended, as it had the ability to be used as an iPad for diagrams. Again, THANK YOU so very much."

Just wanted to send through some feedback for your organisation. We are able to supply families (oftentimes multiple children in each family) with brand new, clean and comfortable uniforms thanks to Zephyr. Finances are a point of severe stress and anxiety for all of our clients and residents at our refuge so to know that we are able to utilise your organisation to be able to provide these families with 3 sets of uniforms and any other school suppliers needed, free of charge to these clients, is an immense relief to these families. The responses and communications from all members of (Zephyr’s) staff that I have interacted with thus far have always been prompt, polite and respectful. Truly, Thank you Zephyr. Your organisation is invaluable . Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We would like to thank you for your extensive support to the young people we have in our crisis accommodation shelter and our support program. We have been blessed to have generous donations each year from Zephyr to support primary and high school students with uniforms, school bags, socks, pencil cases, stationery and workbooks. One of our families also received an iPad for a 13 year old daughter who wanted to access Google classroom. The family appreciated that donation very much as it relieved them from the extra burden of purchasing a new device for their daughter. On behalf of our clients, XXXX House says thank you for all the work that you do and for your commitment to support the young people and students in our shelter.
